Terms & agreements

1. Connex Is a Referral Service Only

Connex helps connect buyers and sellers who may be interested in completing a transaction. Connex is not the buyer, seller, owner, inspector, authenticator, transporter, storage provider, or guarantor of any item.

Connex does not own, inspect, verify, authenticate, deliver, or guarantee any item submitted through the service.

2. Buyer and Seller Responsibility

All final decisions are the responsibility of the buyer and seller. This includes:

• Inspecting the item
• Confirming the condition
• Verifying authenticity
• Agreeing on the final price
• Handling payment
• Choosing a meetup location
• Completing or refusing the transaction

Connex is not responsible for any issue that happens before, during, or after a transaction.

3. Item Accuracy and Legality

Sellers must provide accurate information about the item, including condition, price, photos, and any flaws.

By submitting an item, the seller confirms that they legally own the item or have the right to sell it. Stolen, counterfeit, illegal, unsafe, or prohibited items are not allowed.

Buyers are responsible for inspecting the item and making sure they are comfortable before completing any payment or exchange.

4. Safety Guidelines

Connex strongly recommends that buyers and sellers meet in safe public locations, such as:

• Police station safe-exchange zones
• Banks
• Well-lit public areas
• Busy shopping centers

Users should not meet in unsafe, isolated, or private locations unless they personally choose to do so at their own risk.

Connex is not responsible for injury, theft, scams, threats, damage, loss, or any unsafe situation connected to a meetup.

5. Finder’s Fee / Match Fee

Connex may earn money through a finder’s fee, match fee, service fee, or agreed-upon commission depending on the transaction. In some cases, Connex may only connect a buyer and seller. In other cases, Connex may help coordinate payment or payout between the parties.

Any applicable fee will be disclosed before the user chooses to move forward. Connex fees are for referral, matchmaking, coordination, or service-related work only. Fees do not guarantee that the item will sell, that either party will complete the transaction, or that the item will meet expectations.

Unless stated otherwise, Connex fees are non-refundable once match details are released, payment coordination begins, or Connex has provided the agreed service.

6. No Guarantees

Connex does not guarantee:

• That a buyer will purchase an item
• That a seller will sell an item
• That the item is authentic
• That the item condition is accurate
• That payment will be completed
• That a meetup will happen
• That either party will follow through

Connex only helps create potential connections between buyers and sellers.

7. Disputes Between Buyers and Sellers

If a dispute happens between a buyer and seller, Connex may try to help with communication, but Connex is not responsible for forcing refunds, returns, payments, exchanges, or any other resolution.

Buyers and sellers are responsible for resolving issues related to the item, payment, meetup, or completed sale.

8. Refusal of Service

Connex has the right to refuse service, remove submissions, block users, or stop working with anyone suspected of:

• Scamming
• Providing false information
• Selling stolen or counterfeit items
• Harassment
• Unsafe behavior
• Wasting time intentionally
• Violating these terms

9. Communication Consent

By submitting a form, you agree that Connex may contact you by text, phone, or email about your submission, potential matches, payment instructions, updates, and follow-ups.

10. Agreement

By using Connex or submitting a form, you confirm that you have read and agree to this Terms & Safety Agreement. You understand that Connex is only a referral/matchmaking service and that all meetups, payments, inspections, and final transaction decisions are your responsibility.
